This is (approximately) my NINE mile run route today! I had to guesstimate distance with my slow, slow pace but I think I was pretty spot on. The run felt not bad, not great, slow. By the end I had a big blister that felt icky to run on. Headed straight to a Turkish dönor place to pick up a juice - it tasted incredible.

Never heard of this before. I like a mix of colors - much prettier! But I did have a very one-color-note meal yesterday (see below).
On this weekend’s show, Amanda Thieroff spends a week eating exclusively from one shade of the color palatte each day.

Shit is getting real because Sophie and I just signed up for a marathon. It’s scary. I’m a bit scared. But, it’s good, motivation, right? Also, as you can see from the photo - marathons are NOT free by a long shot. They are actually, kinda expensive. But now that I’m out $86, I can’t not do this, that would be like tossing eighty bucks onto the side of a road! Hurray for money-wasting-guilt-motivation! WE’RE RUNNING A MARATHON!

Found this from www.acqtaste.com. It’s a pretty website.

Real lame for an inaugural post for a few reasons:
1. I am currently not running because my ankle has been hurting. Too terrified of doing anything more to it, I am taking ankle-time-off. I consulted w/ my mum as I know very little about injuries and such. She suggested icing and elevating - right now, my foot is on the coffee table.
2. This photo is no good, and I apologize. Feeling lazy from not running and easter candy, I decided a semi-not-really-half-cleanse would be a good idea. So, I made this damn healthy soup and drank a lot of juice. Ingredients:
2 mini onions
1 head garlic
1 carrot
1/8 Celeriac root
10 small mushrooms
1 head broccolli
1 can tomatoes
1 leek stalk
2 bay leaves
bit o’ rosemary
olive oil
